It's AcroCamp Time!

As I sit on my desk reading through the enroute procedures' chapter in Jeppesen's IR textbook, my mind can't help but wonder to Ray Community Airport (57D) in Michigan. Why 57D might you ask?!..Well that's were a group of very cool and dedicated aviators and enthusiasts are gathered right now to film the 2nd installation of the independent feature film AcroCamp.

AcroCamp is the brainchild of Aviator/Podcaster/Filmaker Steve Tupper, who is the producer of the well known "Airspeed Podcast". It aims to document (in high definition video) the experience of 4 aviators as they undergo acro flying for the first time.

I tell ya...magic is happening @ 57D right now, and all of us aviation buffs get to tag along even if from a distance via the power of social media.

I can hardly wait to see how both Acrocamps 1 & 2 turn out.

Blue Skies..oh n SMOKE ON!
