First Test Of NflightCam

I took the NflightCam flying for the first time today. The NflightCam is basically a portable/hemlet HD cam based on the Contour cams, but has been modified to capture audio from the plane's intercom system to further enhance the viewer's experience. The cam I have is the 1st generation NflightCam. There is a more recent version (NflightCam +) which has a lot of new enhancements such as a newer wider angle lens that got rid of the prop artifact, a removable audio cable, and the ability to hook it up to the TV via an HDMI cable to name a few.
I was very impressed with the camera's ease of use and the video/audio quality I got from it. I posted a YouTube video from today's flight which you can find below.

  1. I've been thinking of getting one of those cameras, now I'm pretty much sold, thanks for posting that!

I have a SD camcorder that uses MiniDV tapes, and it's just such a hassle, I don't even bother any more. However, finding a modern HD camera with a mic input has been a bit of a challenge. I'd heard a few things about the Nfligthcam, but this was the first footage I'd seen from it. Thanks again!
