New Studio!

Well I'm nearly done with testing the equipment for my new podcast studio.
Still trying to find the best room in the house for permanently setting up the equipment !

The audio quality so far is great. What remains is loading the iPad with the intro/outro music n connecting it to the mixer. Oh n yeah, I record  into an Edirol R-09 HR digital recorder rather than a computer. Thanks to Cliff Ravenscraft (The Podcast Answer Man) for his advise on how to setup the studio.

Godspeed Paul !

A great figure in general aviation has gone west! Paul Poberezny, the founder of EAA passed away yesterday after a battle with cancer. Thanks so much for all you've done for us Paul, I count myself among the unlucky ones who never got the chance to meet you!. May your spirit continue to fly and ascend. RIP
The first of many goodies ordered for the new studio has arrived :)

I'm back!..well almost!

Hello fellow aviators & enthusiasts, It's been a while since my last post! I released episode 0 of the podcast in September of 2011 in hopes of releasing episode 1 a couple of weeks later, but as luck would have it I got busy with work! (I'm about to finish my residency in Urology). Nothing new there! Surgical training gets the better part of you n always wins!!! I even had to put my IFR training on hold (Damn, I was so close to sitting for the IR written exam!). My last flight was in Feb 2012, and I miss being aloft terribly. I tried to stay current by flying on flight sim using the PilotEdge network but even had to put that on hold in preparation for the Urology Board Exams. I'm currently in the process of updating my audio recording equipment n will hopefully release episode 1 before the end of the year. So until then...Blue Skies
